Cleaning your bike not only helps keep it in proper working order, but also makes it look shiny and new. Motorcycle Cleaning Tips  Stay away from commercial washing facilities and do it yourself. Make sure you use cleaners specifically designed to clean motorcycles. Be careful of abrasive cleaners or general purpose cleaners as they can damage the paint and/or chrome. Never wash your bike right after a long ride. This week is National Motorcycle Week! How cool is that? There's an entire week dedicated to our two-wheeled mode of transportation. In celebration, Lake Bikefest has come up with 7 reasons to own a motorcycle! Can you think of any others? 1. One of the highlights of Lake Bikefest each year is the chance to win a brand new Harley-Davidson motorcycle! How do you get entered to win? Participate in the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest 2016 Passport Ride Program! Keep reading to learn more about how the program works: Passport Ride Rules Participants can enter at any of the participating locations. A $20 entry donation is optional. One stamp is received at each location, and all stop locations must be stamped for the passport to be complete and approved for the drawing. You must turn your passport in no later than 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 18.
