It's National Motorcycle Week!
This week is National Motorcycle Week! How cool is that? There's an entire week dedicated to our two-wheeled mode of transportation. In celebration, Lake Bikefest has come up with 7 reasons to own a motorcycle! Can you think of any others?
When you park a car or truck in your garage, there's barely any space left for storage, let alone moving around and getting into that storage. In most cases, you have to remove your vehicle from the garage to get anything done in there. Motorcycles on the other hand take up a lot less space, so you have more room for both storage and working in your garage.
Like cars, motorcycles can vary in price depending on style. However, unless you're buying a top-of-the-line, fancy model, motorcycles are generally cheaper than other vehicles. In addition, motorcycle insurance will generally have lower rates than car insurance.
Most motorcycles offer better fuel efficiency, and getting a better mpg will save you money at the gas pump. However, just like with a car, fuel efficiency is also dependent upon your riding style.
