2014 Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest Passport Winner
The Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest Committee would like to announce
the winner of the 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Passport Program. Joshua Rankin
from O’Fallon, MO was the lucky winner of the 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Passport
Drawing on Sunday, September 14th for the brand new 2013 Harley
Davidson FLD Switchback motorcycle. Joshua was one of the over 500
participants in the passport ride that visited all 24 of the passport locations
throughout the Lake Area. Joshua quoted “I'm really excited to win the
Harley. Looking forward to getting home and taking it for a ride”.
The 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Passport Program was executed by the
Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest Committee with assistance from the Fishers of Men,
which is the Lake of the Ozarks Chapter of the Christian Motorcycle
Association. Lake of the Ozarks Fishers of Men did receive a portion of
the proceeds from each passport sold. The cost of a passport was $20 and
the participants had from 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 11th to
11:00 am on Sunday, September 14th to complete the program.
Tim Jacobsen from the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest Committee stated; “We
appreciate the volunteers from the Lake of the Ozarks Fishers of Men that
assisted with the passport program as well as all the bikers that purchased the
passport and participated in the program”.
The 8th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest was very
successful and the attendance included over 25,000 motorcycle and 35,000 people
