In order to prepare for long adventures, such as, the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest this September, you’ve got to prepare and clean your gear.  Having clean gear makes it safer for you to travel. Collect the correct materials In order to effectively clean the external and internal of your helmet, you’ll need the correct supplies: • Water bucket with warm soapy water • Microfiber cloths • Mesh garment bag • Detail and wax • Q-tip or toothbrush • Carnauba wax 2. Clean the external Usually, hardened debris ends up on the external of your helmet. To avoid this in the future, right after your next ride, take the microfiber cloth and wet it.
